Clearwater Beach On the Sand
One of TripAdvisor's Best Beaches
Clearwater has received numerous awards and honors over the years but none have been as prestigious as TripAdvisors’ Reader’s Choice Awards. Clearwater has also been named the #1 Best Beach in America, among many other honors and awards.
Clearwater has 3 major gulf-front public beaches – Sand Key County Park located across the bridge south of the island of Clearwater Beach, bustling South Beach situated along Beach Walk and located in and around Pier 60 and finally North Beach. The Palm Pavilion Inn is located on North Beach, a quieter stretch of sand. If staying with us, you can avoid parking fees. As a reminder, we also do not charge a catchall resort fee – our parking lot is free to our inn guests.
Many of our guests enjoy starting their day by walking or running or shell hunting along the 3 miles of shoreline. Those who prefer to ease into their day can grab a cup of coffee and sit at our street-side cafe tables and check emails or read the latest online news.
After breakfast – an easy walk down the beach to any one of a number of restaurants – guests return to gather up their beach gear to spend the day on our beautiful white sand beach. The inn is happy to provide complimentary beach/pool towels and complimentary use of beach toys for the children. If you’ve forgotten any beach essentials, The Palm Shoppe can assist you with suntan lotion, hats, snacks and beverages.
In addition, the shoppe serves as To-Go Central for the our restaurant. Place phone orders from your room, our pool or the beach by calling 727-446-2642 and asking for the shoppe. Or place orders in person at the shoppe. To see adult and children’s menu options, click here.
In front of the Palm Pavilion are our beach umbrella or cabana rentals – available daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weather permitting, for two-hours or all day. Just make yourself comfortable and a member of our staff will stop by to do the paperwork. Pricing is $20 for two hours and $25 for all day.
End your day with dinner, drinks and a sunset at the Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill & Bar. Or bring your camera, gather at water’s edge and grab a photo or two as the sun slowly sets over the Gulf of Mexico. Alternately walk down to enjoy Sunsets at Pier 60 with entertainment by buskers and craft vendors.
