Clearwater Beach Guide

Known from Tampa to Tokyo for our sugar white sand beaches and record setting sunshine (check out the Guinness Book of World Records!), Clearwater Beach is a small yet bustling community located just across the Memorial Causeway from downtown Clearwater.

Stretching two miles north to south along the Gulf of Mexico, Clearwater Beach is just two streets wide, making it easy to explore on foot or with a beach cruiser rented from a local shop. Our streets are lined with some of the best restaurants on the Gulf, as well as souvenir, antique, and specialty shops; ice cream parlors, day spas, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure - including dolphin-sighting cruises, para-sailing lessons, and even miniature golf!

Sunsets at Pier 60

Finding fun, free, family-friendly entertainment can be a real challenge, but thanks to the Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival, a good time is easy to find - and that's as sure as the setting of the sun! Two hours before sunset, our community gathers to enjoy a variety of street performers, including fire eaters, stilt walkers, magicians; balloon artists, escape artists, performing pets; living statues, break dancers, and jugglers - just to name a few! Local artisans and craftspeople also showcase their one-of-a-kind treasures, while bands and performers create live music for all to enjoy.

The festivities continue as the sun sets over the Gulf, creating a breathtaking sight for all to enjoy. You haven't fully experienced Clearwater Beach until you've celebrated a sunset at Pier 60, and with a party taking place every day, there's no excuse not to join in the fun!
